Tranxitions REDE Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026. Last updated: October 8, 2026.

The short version

  • We collect only what REDE needs to work: your email, your first name if you give it, the tasks you choose or describe, your ratings, and a record of any payment.
  • We do not sell your personal information. We may share or sell statistics that cannot identify anyone.
  • We may use outside services for analytics, advertising and marketing, as the law allows. Sections 4 and 5 explain.
  • We do not share your results with your employer. Nobody sees your audit unless you show it to them.
  • Your results are calculated from your own ratings using fixed rules.
  • We study how REDE is used in totals only, not what any one person did.
  • You can ask us to delete your account, or your account and all your records. Section 7 explains both.

1. Who we are

REDE is run by Rise and Thrive, LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as Tranxitions. "We" and "us" mean that company. This policy covers Tranxitions REDE (Role Evaluation for Durability and Edge) at rede.tranxitions.com. It does not cover other websites we link to, such as O*NET.

2. What we collect

If you use REDE without an account. Your first name (if you give it), your occupation, your tasks, your ratings and any answers about your experience are kept in your own browser so you can come back and finish. REDE discards them 7 days after your last save, and you can remove them at any time with "Start over". This saved audit is not sent to us. The usage records described below are still collected.

If you create an account. We store your email address, the name you give, your occupation, the tasks you choose or describe, any details you add, your ratings, and the results calculated from them. You can also tell us how long you have worked in your field and whether you manage people. Both are optional, and they shape some of the advice in your results. We send an email to confirm your address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. If you tick the box for updates, we record that choice.

If you buy the full plan. Our payment processor collects your card details directly. We never see or store your card number. We keep a payment reference and a record that your account has the full plan.

If you ask colleagues for their view. REDE creates private links that you share yourself. We do not ask for your colleagues' names or email addresses. We store the ratings they give, without anything that identifies them. You see combined results only, and only once at least two people have responded.

If you answer the feedback survey. We store your rating, the boxes you tick and any comment you write. These answers are stored without your account, your email address or anything else that links them to you. You may add your first name, and a last initial if you have the full plan; both are optional. We quote a comment only if you tick the box allowing it.

Usage records. As you use REDE we record which step you reached, how long steps took, whether you are on a phone, tablet or desktop, the occupation chosen, and summary figures such as the number of tasks. These records carry a random code stored in your browser. They do not contain your name or email and are not linked to your account.

Visits. We count visits to REDE ourselves: the page, the name of the site you came from, any tag on the link you followed, your country and your device type, and whether the visit started a check or a purchase. These are kept only as hourly totals. We use no cookies for this and store no internet address.

Searches and suggestions. We may keep the words typed into the occupation search, with nothing that identifies who typed them, so we can improve the directory. Anything that looks like an email address or phone number is removed first. If you add your own task and tick the box to share its wording, we keep that wording in the same way.

Protecting REDE from misuse. To stop spam and overload we count how often some actions are requested. The counts use scrambled keys that cannot be turned back into a person, and never an internet address.

Location and internet addresses. REDE records your country in visit totals and nothing more precise, and does not store your internet (IP) address with your account or in usage records. Like every website, the companies that host REDE process your internet address in order to deliver pages to you.

What we ask you to leave out. Please do not enter your employer's confidential information, other people's personal details, or sensitive facts about yourself such as health or financial information. REDE does not need it.

3. How we use it

  • To run your audit and create your results, recommendations and report
  • To save your progress so you can return to it
  • To process your payment, manage our finances and keep the records the law requires
  • To answer your questions, and to market REDE and measure how that marketing performs
  • To measure, in totals, how REDE is used and where it needs work
  • To protect REDE from spam, fraud and misuse

How results are produced. Your scores, explanations and recommendations come from fixed formulas and templates applied to your own ratings. REDE does not currently send your tasks to an AI service. If that changes, we will update this policy before it happens.

Your results are information, not a decision about you. REDE rates tasks, not job security. Nobody uses your results to hire, fire or evaluate you unless you choose to share them.

Statistics that identify no one. We combine information from many people into statistics, for example how people in an occupation rate their tasks. We may use, publish, share or sell these statistics. They do not include names, email addresses, the words you typed, or anything else that could reasonably identify a person. We do not release a figure built from too few people to keep individuals hidden. We do not try to identify anyone from these statistics, and we require anyone who receives them to agree to the same.

Email. We send the emails your account needs, such as confirming your address and resetting your password. We send updates only if you ticked the box asking for them, and every such email will have an unsubscribe link.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run REDE, and only what each needs:

  • Hosting and database providers: your account details, audit entries and results. Account emails are sent through these providers.
  • Sign-in provider: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google confirms who you are to us.
  • Payment processor: your payment details and email address.
  • Error monitoring provider: technical details of faults, with names, email addresses and internet addresses removed.

We may also use outside providers for analytics, advertising and marketing. When we do, they may receive information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and browser, and an identifier stored in your browser. The fonts and the audio recording on REDE are served from REDE itself.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to prevent fraud or harm, or if Tranxitions is sold or merged, in which case the new owner must honor this policy.

Employer receipts. If your employer pays you back for REDE, your receipt shows your purchase only. It does not include your tasks or results, and we do not contact your employer.

5. Cookies and browser storage

REDE uses only the browser storage it needs to work: to keep you signed in, to save your place (including, for up to an hour, which step to return you to after you confirm your email), and to hold the random code used for usage totals. We and the providers described in section 4 may also use cookies and similar storage for analytics, advertising and marketing. Where the law gives you a right to opt out, or requires us to honor a browser privacy signal such as Global Privacy Control, we will do so.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account details (name and email): for as long as your account is open, or until you ask us to delete it.
  • Audit entries and results: for as long as your account is open. What happens after deletion depends on the choice you make (see section 7).
  • An audit started without an account: up to 7 days, in your own browser.
  • Payment records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Feedback answers, usage totals and search words that are not linked to any person: we may keep these indefinitely.
  • A record of deletions: an account code and the counts of what was removed, with no name or email.
  • Backups: overwritten on a regular cycle.

7. Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us, free of charge, to correct your name or email, to send you a copy of the information tied to your account, to delete your account, or to stop email updates.

How to ask. Email contact.rede@tranxitions.com from the address on your account. We reply within 45 days and may ask you to confirm your email first.

Deleting your account: two choices. Tell us which you want. If you do not say, we will ask.

What we keep either way.

  • If you paid, the payment reference, product and dates, with no link to you, for as long as the law requires.
  • Feedback answers and usage totals. They were never linked to your account, so we cannot find or remove yours.
  • A record that a deletion took place: an account code and counts, with no name or email.

Our payment processor keeps its own records of your payment, as the law requires of it. Deleting your account does not change those records and does not refund a purchase.

If you live in California. Sections 2 and 4 list the categories of information we collect and who receives it. We do not sell your personal information. If we share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we will give you the notice and the opt-out the law requires.

8. Security, children and location

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and limited access to the database. No online service can promise perfect security. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

REDE is for working adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We operate REDE from the United States, and it is intended for people in the United States. We do not market REDE in other countries, and the full plan is sold only to buyers in the United States. If you use REDE from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States under this policy.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when REDE changes. The "last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will also post a notice in REDE. If a change would let us use information we already hold about you in a new way that is less protective of you, we will tell you before it applies to that information.
