About REDE
REDE (say ‘ready’) stands for Role Evaluation for Durability and Edge: a task-by-task look at your role that shows what is durable and where your edge is.
This is how it works.
Pick your occupation and choose the tasks that take most of your time.
Rate each task: Four quick questions per task.
See your map: Each task lands in Durable, Augmentable or Vulnerable, with a reason.
Get your plan: Resume language, what to say to your manager, and a 90-day plan.
The three task groups
Score 4–8
Work requiring direct relationships, institutional trust, and human judgment. These decisions are hard to hand off because you carry the accountability.
Score 9–14
Strategic analysis and decision-making where AI accelerates your data synthesis and drafting, while you retain final judgment and approval.
Score 15–20
Repetitive, routine tasks governed by templates or standard operating checklists. These face high automation exposure and should be streamlined, delegated, or restructured.
What your result is based on
Starts from U.S. Department of Labor task data
Choose from occupation tasks published in O*NET® data by the U.S. Department of Labor, or add your own. You know your job best.
Transparent scoring
Your result comes from four questions you answer about each task. Every number traces back to your own ratings and a fixed formula. AI does not score your job.
A blind-spot check
Quick yes/no tests flag where you may be over- or under-rating a task, and colleague feedback shows how others see your work.
